“My favorite cardio exercise is running. It makes me feel better and release all my stress. I have to run at least 40 minutes a day” continued Amr Diab

Cardiovascular exercise is very important to your health for various reasons:

  • It makes your heart strong
  • It works-out your whole body
  • It helps burn a lot of calories and fat, and helps you lose weight all over your body
  • It reduces heart diseases

This month’s exercise features one of Amr Diab’s cardio exercises: Running:

1) Walk for 5 minutes as a warm-up on a moderate level
2) Start jogging for 10 minutes on a higher level
3) Start running for a continued 40 minutes on the highest level you feel comfortable at
4) Walk for 5 minutes as a cool down on a moderate level
5) Stretch for at least 5 minutes to avoid any injury

You should try to increase your runs by a quarter mile a week, until you reach your target. Do not force yourself to run on the highest speed or else this will result in injury. You should gradually increase your runs until you are satisfied with the targeted miles you wish to run every week

“I run for about 7 or 8 miles a day and take at least two days off per week from running” Says Amr Diab

June’s healthy eating tips DIRECTLY from Amr Diab:

“I don’t eat chicken or meat, so I don’t have many options in my daily eating routine. However I make sure I include grilled vegetables every day in my lunch meal, and vegetable salad in my dinner meal” Says Amr Diab

Vegetables are low in calorie and high in vitamin, they are of a great benefit to your body. Vegetables reduces risk of cancer and heart diseases as well

Including boiled, grilled or steamed vegetables in your daily meals is easy and very beneficial to your health

Some of Amr Diab’s favorite vegetables that are included in his daily meals are: Tomatoes, Broccoli, Carrots, Lettuce, Eggplant, Green Peppers and Onions
