I was first introduced to Arab music in college by some Lebanese friends and when I started to learn some words, many other non Lebanese friends said that they thought I was Lebanese lol but I'm not even Arab. My friends introduced me to Amr diab and others and I started to sing his songs and I have posted some arabic karaoke on www.indabamusic.com/people/elladitsa. I can do better with the Arabic , than Angela Dimitriou, you be the judge!! because I too-am Greek AH!!, NAM!!--Ana al Yunania min ismik Despina and I also made my own album after I parted from my college friends. My dad made a gift to me to let me make an album in the hope some company would discover me. Well a company did not but a radio station www.ellasfm.us has and continues to play my songs. Kul am wa anta bekhair Amr Diab I know how to say it better than I write it. : ) We have a suprise for you, a cute short song I and a friend by the name of Amin are working on. He is using my voice for a very nice song for you. SInce its also difficult to do studio work with no studio just garage band and my friend sending to me files from Egypt, its a bit difficult. Anyway we hope to finish it soon. We just met on indaba so we did not get to finish it on time for your birthday!! : 0
