Episode# 01: America Tour Written by: Fermintation Guerrero Location: Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua - Mexico My sister was going out with a guy who was from Lebanon. Then one day we were having a pool party and he pulled out Amr's new album at the time, "Nour El Ein" . He then played it and I thought it was a flawless musical masterpiece. Ever since then I have been going to Amr's concerts ever since. I always ran into a lot of my friends who are Arabic at the concerts and always ask me if I am a waiter or a bartender working. LOL. They always ask me this because they know I am Mexican and have no idea what I am doing there. I just tell them that I am a very big fan. In fact a lot of them stand with me during the concerts and they find it interesting that I know some of the songs word by word and they don't. That makes me laugh. I just tell them that it is just proof that I am a bigger fan than they are, however, I do not speak the language. The last time I saw Amr Diab in concert was when he performed in Las Vegas. That was the same night I was celebrating my 30th birthday. It was the best birthday ever and the best concert. I just wanted more. I have nothing but the best memories listening to his music. I actually get a hold of all of the sings translated in English for me to understand them. I do listen to Spanish Music but Amr is my all time favorite. When I am sad I listen to his stuff and it makes me happy. I would really appreciate it if you would tell Amr about me. I am sure it will make him laugh and find it interesting that people from a country far away from the middle east love his music. My dream is one day meet him and tell him how much he has impacted my musical taste. And also to tell him that bringing the world together through his music just shows how much of a great artist he is when people from a nation he never thought would listen to his music unite. Thank you. The pictures are of me and my SIster at his last concert in Las Vegas for my birthday. >![]() "you walk up in the street, and hold my hand and smile.
