Fans Stories Around The World, Episode# 04: "Nina from Serbia, Nefertity from Turkey"

Dear Friends,

Here in Egypt or even in most Arab countries we can easily buy any albums of Amr. We can attend his concerts and watch his videos or interviews just with one click on any channel. But it's not the same with foreign fans.

We try to give you some stories from foreign fans around the world, and they will tell us how they started listening to Amr Diab and how they keep listening to him in very far distance, and we will try to get those stories for you and post it in single episode.

Episode# 04: "Nina from Serbia, Nifertity from Turkey"

Hi! OK,this is my story...
"Last year my friend told me about a soap opera O Clone that was played on Serbian national television... The story sounded very interesting so I decided to watch it. I really liked the music so I started to search YouTube and I found two songs that I liked the most- El Alem Allah and Habibi Ya Nour El Ain,and singer was Amr Diab of course And that's how the story begins,...lol... I found many videos of Amr on YouTube and I watched it all... And I really fell in love with his music and his incredible voice and since then I'm his huge fan... I knew that there is no way to find original disc in Serbia so I downloaded his songs... I don't understand Arabic but I know many songs of Amr from word to word. I also found translations in English on the internet and it helps me to understand his songs.

It would be great if Amr knew that he has a big fan in Serbia. I would like to have his original CD and even better to go to his concert I'm thinking about to come to Egypt next year LOL Anyway,I'm glad I shared this story with you! Big kiss from Serbia! )

Eda Arslan "Nefertity" - Turkey

at the age of 9 , i used to watch satellite channels to be able to speak English fluently. I was watching the Egyptian Nile TV that its English was quite slow. One day in one of the music programs i saw a video clip.Its beginning was ; a man with sharp black eyes driving a Range Rover and waiting for the train to pass.As I am keen on Jeeps the video I start watching it carefully. The music and softy voice of that miracle man fascinated me. It wasn't somebody else than Amr Diab. Later I start listening,watching,looking for him all the time and I memorized the lyrics although i didn't understand anything. As I grow up I started learning Egyptian through Nile TV subtitles and then making friends and joining the Amr Diab World.Now Amr Diab, Egypt and All the Arabian Stuff are my life.

amr , amr diab ; his name, his tender soul , his kindly look with his deep eyes those are like moons and show his beauty of his soul inside, his mellifluous voice, his smooth music,his way of talking, his laugh are all i am living for. I love him, I love the way he is.

mere words can not describe what he means to me.he's more than a singer for me , more than a legend.

Very interesting stories and great idea to create such topic!

I find that is a subtle way that I have found new music I like...when you hear a piece of music in a TV show or a film and it touches you so deeply that you get the music "in your head" and can't stop humming the melody.
