The 1st Arab singer to achieve a Guinness world records title

Amr Diab achieved a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for Most World Music Awards for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist on September 27th, 2016

GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS adjudicator Ahmed Gabr presented him with the certificate at his office in Cairo where he talked about this achievement and what it meant for him to be the first Arab singer to accomplish this feat: “I would like to first thank my fans for making this possible, I couldn’t have reached here without their support. I am very proud to be the 1st Arab singer to achieve a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title and it’s such an honour to represent my country, Egypt, at one of the world’s most accredited organizations“
